The healthcare needs quality IT solutions and process automation to increase efficiency and improve the healthiness of its citizens. Work of the Edge apps team resulted in implementation of the projects for specialized blood centers and blood banks, as well as for the laboratory examination of patients’ biomaterial samples by PCR and EIA. The projects “IS-Screening” and “IS-AIST” were developed in the course of work in the medical field. “IS-Screening” is a multi-user laboratory system with universal data storage, unified system of bar-coding of sample containers, input, technological and output forms and documents and necessary reporting. In turn, IS-AIST is an automated information system for automating the processes of forming and maintaining a database on donors and deferred donors, and data on the accounting and distribution of donor blood. The solution is based on modern technologies with the use of information barcoding.
